Designer

Amanda has a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising and Design from the University of Georgia. She worked in Sales right out of college for 6 years before taking time off to be a stay-at-home mom to her two boys.  She spent the last several years designing custom closets, pantries, laundry rooms, entryways, garages, and more.  She is excited to be a part of DCO where she can incorporate kitchen and bath design in with cabinetry, as well as offer flooring options as part of a complete package.  Amanda’s goal when working with her client is to listen to their needs and provide a professional and fun experience.  She includes the client in the design process while also acting as a guide, adhering to the stated needs and requests.  Amanda enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish, providing only the best customer service throughout the journey.  She treats each client as a trusted friend and knows that the best compliment she can receive is a client referral or a returning happy customer ready for their next project.  She loves working within a supportive and talented team setting where everyone can learn from each other and add ideas and expertise.
